An old game which has it's faults, but is nevertheless enjoyable if you're a fan of The Sims and also like the idea of being able to take a role in a virtual community.. i played it. Basically just a copy and paste of "The Guild II".. The Guild 2 is very different to the first The Guild, which sadly isn't a good thing in this particular case. While graphics and gameplay were massively overhauled, neither proves to have been done well.Instead of being a bonafide medieval dynasty simulator, the Guild 2 becomes more of an "economically micromanaged strategy adventure RPG". And as awesome as that might sound, it sadly is not.This particular expansion only gives a few more buildings and 4 new maps to play on. Just by itsef, it definitely isn't worth the money, especially because Renaissance has all the content of this addon already included, which makes it not only bad, but entirely obsolete.. The game is great. But i dont know what the developers did on the last update, the game keeps freezing constantly, its like playing gta4 with a 2001 computer, really buggy. And i have 8core processor r7 250 crossfired, runs fallout4 smoothly. If you're going to go for an enhanced version of The Guild II, may as well go for Renaissance instead of half-assing it with PotES.
